SIMPLY CHRISTIANITY There is another chance to join this 5-week course in an informal and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of chance for questions and discussions. It’s great for anyone wanting to explore and deepen their understanding of what Christianity is about. It’s also suitable as a preparation for those considering Confirmation. Starting on Thursday evening 18th April at 7.45pm in St. Catherine’s Church, Richmond Street, Horwich. Contact Michael Behrend (697162) to book your place. ST. ELIZABETH'S A.G.M. The AGM is planned for Sunday 21st April. AGM Report CHURCH & HALL WORKING DAY - 27th April. There is a Spring Church & Hall Working Day planned for Saturday 27th April starting at 8.30 am for gardening, general DIY and cleaning. Refreshments and a light lunch included. Please, please put the date in your diary and try and be available to help even if only for an hour. There will be a sign up sheet to give an idea of numbers and how to allocate jobs. All help to keep our Church and grounds in a good condition is much appreciated. MISSION PARTNERSHIP CONFIRMATION SERVICE - 12th May. Our Mission Partnership Confirmation Service this year will be at Holy Trinity on Sunday 12th May. There will be no service at St. Elizabeth’s that morning. If you would like to be confirmed, please speak to Peter or Michael. BISHOP'S CERTIFICATE in CHILDREN'S MINISTRY This course is open to everybody involved in Children’s Ministry at St. Elizabeth’s. We are short of people willing to lead or teach in our groups, and this enjoyable course should increase your confidence to lead! The course has six sessions and we will meet monthly at 7.30 pm on Tuesday evenings in St. Elizabeth’s Church. Each session lasts about an hour: Sessions will include; safeguarding Children; How Children Develop; Working Together; Planning what We Do; Children and Prayer and Children and the Bible.
